What is your 3D “comfort zone?”
How do you hope to expand it over this academic year?
I thought I would be able to answer this answer quite easily but I have to make an edit after I finish sculpting.
Before starting the pumpkin project
My comfort zone would be low poly, cute aesthetically items and characters. After the experience with computers crashing and files corrupting from last year's 3D project, I was thinking 3D wasn't really for me. I would like to improve, at least be able to make cute models that please me.
After finished sculpting
My comfort zone has changed. I have more potential than I thought. I still like cute characters and objects, but after making the pumpkin successfully I just realized how fun it is to work on sculpting. I would really love to learn more about how to make full-body detailed characters because of this piece and teach myself how to texture them after being too comfortable with smooth, round cute characters for so long.
