Painting Process #1
First Texture Sheet Unwarp
Adding base colour and colour gradient to the parts
adding base shadings, blushes and main shadows
adding an overlay layer to the skin to make it less pale and adding a blue, red, yellow tone to the face. Continue to render further and add an alpha hair piece to the sheet and inside of the mouth.
Painting Process #2
Second Texture Sheet
Adding base colour and colour gradient to each part, lining shapes and patterns I want
Adding main shadows and patterns on each part and start working on Lion's head colour blocking
Rendering more on the armour piece and adding highlights on the shield to look more metallic. I made the belt and leave crown into alpha and the sheet is done!

Texture On Model
The texture took quite a while to finish. 2 weeks to be exact but I am very happy with how it turns out, especially the should guard and lion themed in general. You may ask why is there a child sketch's doodle on the shield?
Originally it was 1 drawing of a cat-like lion on the shield to tell me I have to draw a lion there. I then turn into a new concept on adding story and personality to my character.

The final concept of the character: A fearsome lioness gladiator who have 3 siblings cheering on for her to come back home safely. They all draw each sketch on her shield as an encouragement to aid their sister in the battle.
